99 Cent TV Shows Coming to iTunes, Sorta

Feb 19 - by Chris Mori

It was rumored a while back that Steve Jobs was trying to rally TV Broadcasters to lower their TV show pricing down to 99 cents, which would make people significantly more inclined to pay 99 cents then the regular $3.00.  But it turned out that Mr. Jobs has been working hard to get this done, and over the last couple months it seems CBS will begin selling SOME of their TV Shows on iTunes for the 99 cent price point. Which is a much more attractive price for the average iTunes user.  It is also reported by the Financial Times that Apple have been in talks with other broadcasters to adjust there prices down to the 99 cent price point but it seems nothing will be officially announced till the iPad is launched.
